Cutting the Grass - Art Performer + Sound Recordist
Cutting the Grass was a yearly art performance, spearheaded by doctoral researcher Fred Hubble.
Held on the 1st of May every year, performers would hand cut the grass using a range of implements, avoiding all wildflowers. Antihistamines were provided.
Conversations during and after the performance were around Beltain, International Workers Day and contemporary relationships to the rural land around us.
